Camp Pendleton is the major West Coast base for the United States Marines, one of the largest Marine camps in the country. These service members deserve our deep respect. However, when members of the military are off-base, they can face arrest just like civilians.
If you were arrested outside of Camp Pendleton, you could be left behind bars, trying to find a way back to base.
That is where we at Balboa Bail Bonds come in. As proud supporters of the U.S. Armed Forces, we will send an agent to pay your bail within 24 hours of your call. Not only that, but we will provide you with support and expert advice as you go through the difficult criminal justice process. To speak with one of our many incredible agents, call us at (619) 760-2222 today.
As a U.S. Marine, you may assume a different set of rules apply to you – and they do -- but when members of the military are off-base or off-post, they can still be arrested as civilians. This means that the booking, holding, bail, and trial process will be the same, with the added exception that members of the military will be expected to inform their commanding officer of the arrest.
Thankfully, you aren’t alone. We at Balboa Bail Bonds have long served the military community, those on active duty and veterans and military spouses. Our agents are happy and able to walk you through the confusing bail process to get you out of jail and back where you belong.
Following a civilian arrest, you will be taken to the local police department. This will depend largely on where you are arrested. The closest city to Camp Pendleton is Fallbrook, which is served by the San Diego Sheriff’s department. If you are arrested there, then you will probably be taken to 388 E. Alvarado St., Fallbrook, CA 92028. There you will go through the booking process, where your picture will be taken, your fingerprints recorded, and your criminal record updated.
Within 24-28 hours of your arrest, you will be granted a bail hearing. This hearing will determine whether or not you are granted bail. As a member of the military, especially one stationed at nearby Camp Pendleton, chances are high that bail will be granted as you will be deemed “not a flight risk” or a risk to the community. However, whether or not you are released will depend on if you actually post bail.
If you do not post bail, then you will be held in jail or transferred back to the camp and kept in confinement there until your trial ends. This process could take weeks, or even months, to conclude. Meanwhile, you will be missing important time with your family, and your reputation and your rank could be severely damaged by the arrest. It is always best to pay your bail and get out from behind bars as quickly as possible. Thankfully, we at Balboa Bail Bonds make it as easy as possible.
At Balboa Bail Bonds, we take customer service very seriously. Our agents are available 24/7, 365 days a year, to ensure that clients can get fast, reliable bail no matter when they are arrested. No matter where your arrest took place, one of our agents will be there as quickly as possible to get you out and back where you belong.
Even better, we offer a low 10% premium. If your bail was set at $6,000, you would only owe us $600 when all is said and done. Of course, being in the military doesn’t mean you have money to spare. That is why we offer flexible payment plans to all clients. If that $600 is too steep, we will work with you to find a financing plan that works within your budget. Our interest is in helping people in need, not bankrupting a family.
When it comes to our men and women in uniform, we at Balboa go the extra mile. No one deserves more respect in this country than those who serve and protect it. Many of our agents are veterans themselves, and we take great pride in offering military members the best possible service. That is why we offer a military discount: if you are serving, or have served, in the U.S. Armed Forces, you won’t even owe us a full 10% premium.
If you are from Camp Pendleton and are facing a civilian arrest, we can provide you with the support that you need. Sitting in jail can hurt your chances for advancement within the military, as well as hurt your chances in court. For a military discount on your bail, call Balboa Bail Bonds at (619) 760-2222. We are proud supporters of the U.S Marines and are happy to give you the help you need.
