Helping Those Arrested in Eastvale
Eastvale is a young city, only being formally incorporated in 2010. As such, it has a smaller population of just 65,000 people. Of course, despite it being young, there are plenty of wonderful things for visitors and locals alike to enjoy. Many people enjoy walking along the beautiful parks and the countless restaurants that dot downtown. However, even a city so young still has its problems. Eastvale has seen a steady increase of violent crimes over the past several years. In fact, one recent year there was a jump of over 70%! These high spikes in violent crime are enough to make any police officer wary and could even lead to an officer arresting you just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If you are facing an arrest in Eastvale, chances are that you are feeling lost, confused, and alone. No one is prepared to be arrested. We understand how upsetting this must be for you. However, you are not without help. We at Balboa Bail Bonds have years of experience working with clients in need in Riverside. Our agents are the best in the business and are prepared to help you. For fast, affordable bail, call Balboa Bail Bonds at (619) 760-2222 today.

Other bail bond agencies will only call when it comes time to collect their premium. That isn’t the case at Balboa Bail Bonds. We know how terrifying the trial process can be. That is why our agents are available and prepared to answer all of your pressing questions.
What to Do After an Arrest
Immediately after your arrest you will be transported to the local police department. The police in Eastvale are contracted through the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and operate out of Jurupa Valley. This means that you will be taken to the Jurupa Valley Station in 7477 Mission Blvd., Jurupa Valley, CA 92509. While there, your criminal record will be updated, your mugshot will be taken, and your fingerprints will be recorded. After you are processed, you will be temporarily placed in a holding cell at the police department.
Within 24-48 hours after your arrest, you will be given a bail hearing. The hearing will be led by a judge, who will communicate with you through a video feed. The judge will decide whether to grant you bail, and, if it is granted, how high or low the bail should be. There are several factors that go in to determining that amount. The judge will consider:
- The severity of the alleged crime
- Your prior criminal history
- The strength of the evidence
- The bail schedule
- Whether or not you are a flight risk
Your flight risk is how likely the judge thinks you are to flee the city, state, or even country, in order to avoid prosecution. The higher your flight risk, the higher your bail will be set. This is meant to provide you with strong incentive to stay, as bail is only returned to you when a trial is completed. Factors that determine how high your flight risk is include:
- Whether you live in Eastvale
- Whether you work in Eastvale
- Whether you have family in Eastvale
- Whether you have attempted to evade prosecution in the past
Once all of these factors are considered, the judge will then decide your bail. If you are granted bail, which you will be in most circumstances, then you will have the opportunity to pay it. If you do not pay bail, then you will be transported to a more permanent holding facility until your trial. In Eastvale, you will likely be brought to the California Rehabilitation Center at Fifth St, Norco, CA 92860. You are free to post bail at any point leading up to your trial, even if you have been transferred to a jail.
Court and Trial
The trial process can take a great deal of time -- months or even years. For a trial in Eastvale, you will likely have to go to the Corona Courthouse at 505 S Buena Vista Ave #201, Corona, CA 92882. If you have not paid bail, then the jail or prison you are staying in will transport you to and from the courthouse for all of your required appearances. If you are out on bail, however, you will be responsible for making sure you appear at all required hearings on time. If you neglect to do so, then your bail could become forfeit. This means that the court may seize your bail and place you behind bars.
Remember, the purpose of bail is to incentivize you to appear in court when required. If you do not show up, then it shows the incentive did not work. Thankfully, you will most likely be offered bail again, but you will not be given back the bail you already paid. If you realize that you are going to be late to court, or that you cannot make a court date, then you should immediately call your bail bond agent. Our agents work hard to maintain strong relationships with all local courts just in case a client is at risk of losing their bail. Your agent may be able to get the forfeiture postponed; however, that is never guaranteed. If you want to make sure your bail never becomes forfeit, then you should show up to all court appearances on time.
Making Bail Affordable
Many people assume that they can’t afford bail. After, bail is often set in the thousands of dollars, and few people have that kind of money sitting around in their bank account. However, when you work with Balboa Bail Bonds, we go out of our way to make sure that our clients can afford bail. First of all, we only ask for a small 10% premium. This means that if your bail is set at $6,000, it would only cost you $600. Of course, we understand that even $600 can be outside of what some people can afford. Which is why, on top of the 10% premium, we also offer fast and flexible payment plans. We work with our clients to come up with a payment plan that works for their budget, not against it.
